I've had my 2008 BMW serviced by Desi Auto Care few times for different issues and have been pleased each time so far. In April, I started noticing a gradual decrease in clutch grab increase in travel, with a corresponding rise in RPM as if the engine wasn't connecting completely with the trasmission. I brought the car to Desi and sure enough the clutch, bearing, disc, pressure plate, and flywheel needed replacing. While they were at it, I had them replace the OEM clutch delay valve with high flow aftermarket CDV, which they did without hesitation. The new clutch was installed with no issues, and now it is well worn in and performs like a dream!

The BEST auto mechanic alternative to a dealer and especially for european cars without the ultra inflated prices. The quality of workmanship and custumer service is grade A - they care! Clear explanations (i'm an engineer and need this), punctual and a practical approach makes it my favorite go to car mechanic.

My Jaguar XF was driving poorly {erratic acceleration, sluggish, engine rattle} and I gave myself a pep talk before taking it in. "OK. Plan for $1,000. Whatever it is, just plan for $1K." I took my JAG in on Mon-AM and whithin few minutes, Shawn had diagnosed it as needing a new fuel pump (or fuel pump sensor, don't remember). I asked "Okay. How much is it?" It was $108 plus one hour -labor. The Jaguar parts supplier they called couldn't deliver, so the kind girl (she knew I have a situation and I need the car back ASAP) at the front desk said, "No problem. I'll drive down to part supplier and get it for you so we can get your car back to you soonest" despite my telling her if they needed to keep it, they could. I also requested that they check my shocks and my brakes....I got a call about two hours after I left that my brakes were fine until my next oil change {which they were giving me that day}...and that my shocks were also fine, a simple parts was loose under the car and they tightened it. They very easily could've replaced my brakes earlier than necessary and invented a suspension problem.... But they didn't.

3 days ago i replaced rediator at dealership and it was still leaking all over my parking I took it back to them and they said i have more problems than just the radiator and telling me they need to fix more expensive things on my Acura.Are you insane? Eventually i brought the Acura to Desi Auto Care and was told that the radiator is new,but the clamps were very old & rusted badly and all hoses installed incorrectly.That's a reason i am seeing leaks of oil,antifreeze,power steering fluid.I told him to fix it and now the car is running great with no leaks.Finally_ mechanics with common sense..

Our Acura was making a strange knocking sound from the front end for months (seemingly ever since I took it to the dealership for its last service under the warranty) - a friends's suggestion - I decided to give Desi a try. I sure am glad I called - becoz within 24 hours the problem was solved and my wallet was only slightly lighter. I called Desi's on a Monday afternoon and explained the issues on the phone. They said it should be no problem and that they'd be able to get it in the next day. I dropped the car off at their convenient night drop that evening and they called me back the next morning with an evaluation of the problem, an explanation of my options and an estimate. By 6:30 that afternoon - everything was fixed (they even topped off my power steering fluid - free) and the car no longer sounds like it's possessed by a demon. Best of all - the price for the repairs and an oil change was very reasonable. Recommended

Shawn is the 3rd generation tech from his technician-family. I'm JAGUAR Supercharged XJR owner here. Heard some funny noises coming from the front. Thought it was the engine. Turns out it was nothing bad at all, and it took Shawn all of 2 minutes driving it to figure it out, than he fixed it. He is the JAGUAR whisperer. My car has never been running smoother and he's taught me a lot. Honest, good prices and will tell you how it is and helped me with a wheel issue i was having.
